NON-PUBLIC school students may be eligible for federal education services under IDEA Title VI Part B of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. This Act provides services to both public and private school children, who require specialized instruction, qualify as a child with a disability, and who live in the Mooresville Graded School District attendance area.
Mooresville Graded School District is in the process of submitting an application for the 2015-2016 fiscal year under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The district is soliciting input from non-public school officials to help develop a plan for providing appropriate programming and/or support for eligible students prior to our submission deadline. We also ask for your assistance in providing the names of students with disabilities who may need identifying, and/or already identified student that could benefit from the services as determined by the plan.
