Meet Mrs. Baker
Mrs. Baker is extremely excited to be joining the South TEAM! This is her 14th year in education. She began her career teaching 8th grade Language Arts and Math at Statesville Middle School. In 2004, she decided to move closer to home and began teaching Algebra at Mooresville High School. Her time at MHS taught her a lot about leadership and how she could impact the lives of all children. In 2012, Mrs. Baker received her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University. In that same year, she also received her National Boards in Young Adolescent Mathematics and this will be her 4th year as an Assistant Principal, and she LOVES this job!
Her husband, Nick, and her were married two years ago, and they live in Huntersville. They have two wonderful, lovable shih tzus, Scout and Tyson. They love to go to the beach and travel. In Mrs. Baker's spare time she loves to go to Burn Boot Camp, play tennis, and clean her house (it's weird but therapeutic).
