MHS Bond Project:  A Health and Safety Issue

 Printable Version

In 2009 the Iredell County Joint Facilities Taskforce convened to begin its study of the facility needs of both Mooresville Graded School District and our sister district Iredell-Statesville Schools.  This in-depth study concluded that Mooresville High School was found to be the greatest need due to age and safety issues.  In addition to the Facilities Task Force, MGSD has had structural engineers inspect the gymnasium and auditorium of Mooresville High School. These studies have shown both health and safety issues that need remedied for MHS to be up to best educational standards.
