Mr. Eric Schwarzenegger

Mr. Schwarzenegger became principal at MHS in 2017 after serving as an Assistant Principal for the school. Prior to joining Mooresville High School, Mr. Schwarzenegger was a Social Studies Teacher and Assistant Principal in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District.  Originally from upstate New York, Mr. Schwarzenegger graduated from SUNY Oneonta and moved to North Carolina through Teach for America.  During his time in CMS, he earned his Masters Degree in Social Studies Education and School Administrator Certification through UNC Charlotte while also becoming a Nationally Board Certified Teacher.  Mr. Schwarzenegger lives in Concord with his wife and two daughters.  He enjoys reading and cheering on the NY Giants, and spending time with his family.

Ms. Meredith Bost

Assistant Principal
9th Grade, Social Studies Administrator

Ms. Meredith Bost joined Mooresville High School in 2013 as an Assistant Principal. Ms. Bost taught Social Studies for 9 years prior to joining the MHS Administrative Team. She is a NC Teaching Fellow and has coached volleyball and swimming. Ms. Bost has an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Masters in School Administration from Western Carolina University. She is currently attending Gardner Webb University to obtain a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction.

Mr. Michael Few

Assistant Principal

Mr. Michael Few served in the U.S. Army prior to receiving his M.A. in Educational Administration and Supervision from Northeast Louisiana University. He taught social studies at the high school level for two years in Louisiana and in middle school for three years in Winston-Salem. He also served as an assistant principal at Concord High School prior to joining the administration team at MHS. In his spare time, Mr. Few enjoys reading, exercising, going to sporting events, traveling, and singing. He has been married for almost 6 years to his wife, Lisa.

Ms. Yamaro Scott

Assistant Principal
11th Grade, Science and EC Administrator

Ms. Yamaro Scott joined the Mooresville High School family as assistant principal in August 2017.  Prior to coming to MHS, she was the department chairperson for the special education department at Cox Mill High School for Cabarrus County Schools. Ms. Scott earned her Bachelor and Master degrees from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, and her administrative license from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Additionally, she is currently enrolled in the Doctoral program at the University of North Carolina Charlotte pursuing her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction-Urban Education. In her free time, Ms. Scott enjoys running, spending time with family, and reading Amish fiction. 
Mrs. Tracey Waid

Mrs. Tracey Waid joined the administrative team at Mooresville High School in 2017 after serving as an MHS Instructional Coach and the MGSD District Lead Instructional Coach. She began her educational career at MHS in 2003 as a French and Spanish teacher and received her National Board certification in 2014. Mrs. Waid has an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and a Master's in Education in Curriculum and Instruction. She completed her Administrative coursework at Wingate University. Mrs. Waid lives in Mooresville with her husband and two children (also MGSD students). In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, movies, and photography.

Mr. Kevin Wilson

Assistant Principal / Athletic Director
PE/Arts Administrator

Mr. Wilson made the move to Mooresville High School during the summer of 2014 after sixteen years at North Mecklenburg High. While at North he served in several positions including teaching Culinary Arts, coaching baseball, Dean of Students and Athletic Director. Mr. Wilson is a Certified Athletic Administrator with an undergraduate degree from California State University Stanislaus and a Master in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. Mr. Wilson resides in Davidson with his wife of 26 years and has two boys in college. In his spare time he enjoys time with family, athletic events, camping, and traveling.
