Dr. Michael Royal

12th Grade Administrator

Dr. Michael Royal has spent his education career at Mooresville High School, becoming Principal in 2011. Dr. Royal joined Mooresville High School's mathematics department in 2001 after he graduated from Wingate University. He taught for seven years and earned his Master's degree from Gardner-Webb University to move up to become an Assistant Principal. Dr. Royal served as an AP for just over three years before taking over in his new role in October of 2011. During his first ten years at MHS, Dr. Royal also served as the Cross Country coach and as a Track & Field coach for the Blue Devils.

Dr. Royal and his wife, Mary, have two daughters, Mary Connelly and Elizabeth, and they reside in Mooresville. The Royals are members of First Presbyterian Church in Mooresville. In his spare time, he enjoys running, watching tv, and spending time with his family. Dr. Royal loves the community, the staff, and the students in Mooresville and is looking forward to a great year!

Meredith Bost

Assistant Principal
11th Grade Administrator

Ms. Meredith Bost joined Mooresville High School in 2013 as an Assistant Principal. Ms. Bost taught Social Studies for 9 years prior to joining the MHS Administrative Team. She is a NC Teaching Fellow and has coached volleyball and swimming. Ms. Bost has an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Masters in School Administration from Western Carolina University. She is currently attending Gardner Webb University to obtain a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction.

Michael Few

Assistant Principal 
9th Grade Administrator

Mr. Michael Few served in the U.S. Army prior to receiving his M.A. in Educational Administration and Supervision from Northeast Louisiana University. He taught social studies at the high school level for two years in Louisiana and in middle school for three years in Winston-Salem. He also served as an assistant principal at Concord High School prior to joining the administration team at MHS.

In his spare time, Mr. Few enjoys reading, exercising, going to sporting events, traveling, and singing. He has been married for almost 6 years to his wife, Lisa.

Eric Schwarzenegger

Assistant Principal
10th Grade Administrator

Prior to joining Mooreseville High School in 2016, Mr. Schwarzenegger was a Social Studies Teacher and Assistant Principal in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District.  Originally from upstate New York, Mr. Schwarzenegger graduated from SUNY Oneonta and moved to North Carolina through Teach for America.  During his time in CMS, he earned his Masters Degree in Social Studies Education and School Administrator Certification through UNC Charlotte while also becoming a Nationally Board Certified Teacher.  Mr. Schwarzenegger lives in Concord with his wife and two daughters.  He enjoys reading and cheering on the NY Giants, and spending time with his family.

Kevin Wilson

Assistant Principal / Athletic Director

Mr. Wilson made the move to Mooresville High School during the summer of 2014 after sixteen years at North Mecklenburg High. While at North he served in several positions including teaching Culinary Arts, coaching baseball, Dean of Students and Athletic Director. Mr. Wilson is a Certified Athletic Administrator with an undergraduate degree from California State University Stanislaus and a Master in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University.

Mr. Wilson resides in Davidson with his wife of 26 years and has two boys in college. In his spare time he enjoys time with family, athletic events, camping, and traveling.
